In the July school holidays, Harry and Archie participated in the SA Junior Heifer Expo at the Wayville Showgrounds.

Archie showed one of the oldest calves to be sired by Dunoon Prime Minister P758 and Harry showed one of the oldest calves to be sired by Montana Elevation. Both heifers performed well and came 3rd in the classes. 

The Junior heifer show is an excellent experience for the boys, where they learn ring craft, marketing, nutrition, AuctionsPlus, cattle assessment, carcase evaluation, show preparation and junior judging. They also make some great friends from all over the state as well as from interstate. We can't thank the SA Junior Heifer Expo committee enough for putting on such a great experience for our future cattle breeders!
